First Come First Serve: Free Jet Banner!

Damn, I know we’re about a week and a half late on this, but just in case. It looks like Jet Performance has (had) a few big banners lying around the shop that they’re trying to off—for FREE! They say “Jet Performance,” measure 30” x 60” and will look totally bitchin on your shop or garage wall, right next to your 2010 Pirelli Calendar and that tattered old poster of the Budweiser gals. Yeah, you know the one, where their bathing suits look just like the towel they’re lying on. Uh, anyway, if you want a Jet Banner, email paul@jetchip.com and ask for one (1st come, 1st serve).

Dyno Run, HEMI Style

Check out this video we ran across of a Jet module equipped Hemi Ram on the dyno. It starts off with a Chaplin-esque silent segment, but once the drums start rolling, the sound comes up to let you experience the magnificence of the Hemi holler!

While combing the web-o-sphere for all things Jet Performance, we came across this video from a crazy crew called MiloMovieMakers. This video shows how easy it is to install a Jet Chip on a Dodge Ram 1500. Remember, the guy in this video is a privateer, unaffiliated with Jet, so there’s no hype here.

SRT8 Powered Jeeps Sound Mean!

I’ve always been a fan of Jeeps. I don’t care what say; sure, some of them are unreliable and sometimes they’re a little overpriced for what you get, but when they work, they are a thing of beauty. Whether you’re rock crawling or running the drag strip, Jeeps know how to get places fast. The SRT-8 Jeep Cherokees are good proof; 0-60 in five seconds running a quarter mile in 14′s. I don’t care how you slice it, that’s quick! Here’s a short vid of an SRT-8 Cherokee with an intake and Jet Chip module set to stage 2.

“Had already installed Airaid throttle body spacer, free flow air intake, Acel Super Coil and 8mm plug wires along with Bosch Platium Plus4 plugs which had improved preformance and gas mileage in my 97 Jeep Wrangler SE with a underpowerd, overworked 2.5 4 cylinder. In less than 15 minutes that it took to install the JetPreformance Module #90017, which is the basic chip, I could tell when I turned the switch we had hit paydirt, fired instantly, ran smoother. TEST DRIVE Got in, put it in reverse and it backed itself out of the drive, put it in drive and could tell with the first gear shift, mission accomplished. Now the Jeep drives with less effort, shifts with less strain, accellerates quicker and gets about 2 mpg better milage over what the prior upgrades had accomplished. I almost wished now that I had stepped up to the stage II chip and some where down the road may do that.”
